10/10/2009 is when Megs and i are going to get married. Some of you guys dont know yet so i thought that i should inform those that dont know. Things are really starting to come together with it and if anyone needs more info or anything let me know. in other news im finding gradschool easier that my undergrad. less multiple guess and more class discussion and essays which ive always excelled at. thats really it, having four day weekends for this semester is nice but can be a bit boring =/

Grad School

So it took forever but i received confirmation from the head of the Geography Department at ISU and i am in. So i will be a grad student as of fall '08, Damn this means im a Hoosier..... but good news is that i get to further my education one more step. Megan also succesfully transfered to ISU as well, Congrats to her for getting into a Big Ten School! But School starts the 18th of this month for us so wish us luck !

Thanksgivig break went really well.i spent thanksgiving with Megans family and i was recieved well by them but as everyone knows i dont deal well with fake people so i had to bite my tounge more than once. pluss they were "religious" so i had to bite my tounge from akeing any off color Jesus jokes. but i had a really fun time with Megan and i do look forweard to many more family events with Megan because it would mean i spend more time with my girl =)then that night we drove down to ofallon to supprise my parents a day early. Megan was well recieved by everyone. and SPAMalot went very very well if you are a monty python fan you have to see it. and my seats were closer than i thought we were 11 from stage. and it was much fun. then on sunday Martin and i stood inline for four hours to try and get a Wii and i must say i am a proud owner of a Wii and the graphics arent anything next gen but the controller makes up for it. you can always make better graphics but you cant always make something like this.

Summer Overview

well im in charleston now and its pritty cool to be back. it does suck that i dont eat anymore cuz im not mooching from my parents but thats a small price to pay for freedom. my summer was a let down like normal. the first part i broke up with Gerti for many reasons (you want to know i have no problem telling you i just wont tell all of cyber space what they were) then i worked in a warehouse for most of the summer and that was well time commsumeing and well i lost two pant sizes so thats good. i also went out and got a $900 suit outfit so i can look all spiffy for random dress up days and for job interviews and such. i also saw Phantom Of The Opera at the Fox theature with Kevin and Brittany (who still owe me for tickets =P ) then throught the whole summer i spent most of my evenings at Martins with my Homies it was really good to have a few months seeing all of them. then i went to Point Fest with my brother and one of his coworkers and his wife. that was fun but Staind sucked ass live. my favorites were Hurt and Blue October. OH also this summer dave broke up with his whore so he doesnt have to deal with her anymore which is definitly a good thing. i also went to Gencon last week and that was a HUGE dissapointment durring the whole event i only played DND (living grayhawk) 3 times and then Hero's of Rougugon once and Twilight Imperium (a fucking awesome board game) once as well. and i was there for 4 and a half days. so im never doing that again. the biggest thing that probobly happend this year is that my kitty that ive had for 13ish years died last sunday, i dont think ill ever get the image of his dead gaze out of my head...i really miss my bag-o-kitty...and now im in school and i really like my new apt kyle is funny as hell. anyone is invited to come over and see our new place. this semester im also takeing Latin (as in the language) geograpy of sports and a U.S. constatution class. also Rachel introduced me to a friend of hers named Ciji and she seems really cool. and hopefully my last year of college will be a good one but we will see usually (like this one) my end of summer is really good then the year starts to suck ass. *shrug* well here goes nothing 2006-2007 school year....

well in other news work sucks. ive been working 12 hour days. monday our server crashed and oh yeah Vista (California its where our HQ is located) didnt think they needed all the warehouses on different servers, well oops we got to go home early. tuesday it was f-ing hot and since it was f-ing hot (bout 110-120 in the warehouse) the transformer fuze broke. so today we had to play catch up for the last two days and i woke up at 4 am to work till 7pm. well at 2pm today the transformer blew again and guess what, 4am again today, blah. well in good news like i said two weeks ago i got a new suit here is what its worth (hey it looks awesome so im going to brag) Stafford Suit coat $490.00, Stafford Fitted Suit Pants $99.00, Johnston & Murphy Shoes - $170.00, Dress Shirt- $40.00, Tie And Hankie $40.00. so thats what?almost $900 with tax? yeah i paid $22X.XX the shoes were on sale, the suit coat and pants were on sale for dirt cheap. and then my mother has a 20% associate discount so i gots a steal.Btw Click on it since its all fuzzy. i have another one with my tie on but this damn lj scrapbook thing is takeing forever and i have to go to bed. so ill do something about it laters.

So Phantom Of The Opera was great. i love the Fox Theature in St. Louis, such a beautiful work of archatecture. i went with my good friend Kevin and my Good Friend Brittany. it was there first time seeing phantom (my secound) and Kevin's first time seeing a profeshional production. it was really good times. i almost got hit by a car again (it happens alot) and we saw a man wearing a plastic seethrough shirt (he was going to see the play also). then after the first act kevin was singing "some guy in the mask is here" to the Phantom Theme, hilarious is the only word that can describe him singing that. then we bumped into one of kevins ex's in front of the theature and met up wtih her at Denny's afterwards. it was a great production thou and i liked the cast. the opening few songs had a bit too much verbrato than i would have liked but other than that no real gripes. and i can honestly say that i was relaxed during the play, one of the only times ive been truly relaxed and at peace for..well mabye the better part of a decade (being serious). and let me just say now that i look damn good in a suit =P. im probobly going too see Le Misarable with Kevin next month, since its its last run. its going to end in St. Louis, so if anyone out there wants to go see it with me let me know soon because im going to be buying tickets soon because i really want to see that before it goes away. i havnt seen Le Mis profeshionally yet but i cant wait to see/hear "castle on a cloud" in the fox. well im out its 12 and i have to be up at 530, Peace

so i went to bed at 9ish tonight since i have work at 7am and am wakeing up at 6am, when i decide to have a nightmare that scares the shit out of me (all i remember is im in a parkinglot and boots from people being electrafied are falling on my head four in total) then i watch some guy get struck inside a building 20 feet in (dont ask its not rational) then there is this businessman that i know (he was tall well groomed hair) but i remember before going intot the builidng showing him, he was on the phone and his side got hurt. then i go and look at the windows and everything seems really sunny, well someone tells me that its fake windows and it projects what kind of weather you want it to look at. well then all of a sudden im stading with my friend Martin in this large room with stairs going down, then i say something like "uh oh they are comming" or something like that and a mini cobra helecopter appears adn tears into my left side (funny i have gas and its tugging at my left side) also keep in mind a valcan gattling gun in your left side is nothign to sneeze about. then i fake left and run right, martin runs left then men pop out from god knows where and i start shooting at us. so what do i do? i put my fingers as guns and "shoot back" then i grab a gun from somewhere and try and shoot back (i say try because in dreams i can never pull the trigger back its too hard) then a there are two guys in front of me the guy on the left is shooting at me and there is tons of broken glass.the guy on the right is from SNL (who looks like chevy chase but not...i cant figure out his name) and hes on a walkietalkie and is sayying something like "ive got two of them...take my hand we have to go" but i said something like "i cant my fiance (or wife i cant remember which) is outside i cant go" then i woke up scared out of my mind. i sit here and right this and i have no idea why i was scared out of my mind. sigh. well a coke and a cinnemon roll later and i still dont know why im up. so im giong to finnish this coke and hope that WWW.somethingpositive.net 's compic is up cuz i really do love that comic.

EDIT: oh the reason this was titled "instant zombie movie" is because the lights outside of Gerti's apt went out just as i was writting it so it looked really creapy like a zombie movie.

Caving fun and not so fun

Ok so Caveing was fun but it wasnt. friday the camping out was really fun some very interesting things happened lol, poor kyle. sleeping on the cold groud wasnt that bad it was the incline the tent was in and a damn owl that wouldnt stop hooting. saterday was the adventure into the depths of hell.the whole to get into was no bigger than 1 1/2 food square. mabye a bit bigger length wise but not by much. then it was mabye 75-50 yards of doing an army style crawling with about 1 1/2 foot height. then other parts where we had to push eachother up and one place where it was really small hole and it corkscrewed and we had to climb through that. lots of water and mudd in the middle of the cave and alot of crawling on our hands and knees in mud and water. and im so damn sore. i didnt have knee pads nor elbow pads so 4 hours in a cave crawling on my hands and knees and my stomac can do wonders to your appendages. i cant move my arms above my head yet, thou im trying and my knees were really swollen last night and this morning and going up and down stairs sucks but other than that it was fun. was it a fun and nice adventure? yes. would i do it again? FUCK NO! lol definitly something i should only experiance something once. well since i had to wake up early to do a 8 oclock shift im gona go hang for abit so give me a call folks im not doing much this week besides tuesday!

So friday Martin picked me up and we went to Ofallon so i could hang out with a ton of people. i get to ofallon try and buy a board game called Disent:road down to darkness (its a oober version of Hero Quest a game i played way back when) but my card was declined cuz i already spent the $300 limit (bought gerti's 1 year annerversery gift) so that was a bummer. then saterday we had robs party. but we went to get the board game (which rockzors) then we went to the mall to eat. after that we went to robs "Welcome back to America Thank god you didnt get shot when you were in Afganistan For a year and a half. and that god your spending your last year in Hawaii (oh yeah everyone feels for him *rolls eyes* lol " party. it was fun i knew....6 people something like that. mostly it was his church, southern baptist btw. lol out of all my friends from back home 90% of them are Southern Baptist and we get along really well too its funny (if you dont know why that is funny ask about my religious beliefs sometime) then martin and i started learning and assembling the game and got his mom,dad and my friend liz to play. then Rob came over and he played for a bit then Nate and Bethany got into town from Georgia. so we went over there. and to my surpise DAVE SHOWED UP!!! i was exited. Steve was there too which i didnt know so it was litteraly just like old times it was awesome. we ended up just sittin around talking and stuff which was really fun. sunday we took the Dirt bikes out which is always fun. Nates bike needed a ton of cleaning thou so it wasnt up but Dave bought a new one which I nor Nate liked it didnt feel right. i felt like a fat man on a tricicle. then i went to the mall with Rob because he wanted a nice Domincan Cigar and i know a few things about them now from Gerti's Cousin and Mike a prof here at collge. so that was fun i picked up a few and then i had dinner with my rents and my bro and that was...interesting. my mom wasnt being the nicest or the most polite individual. then i played two games of chess with my dad and my mother was trying to play too...soo damn annoying. then after i kicked his ass in both games (last game didnt really count cuz my mother was breaking our consentration) i went over to Nates because Liz offered to take me home on monday morning. so we went over and all of us played Halo for a few hours instead of watching the supperbowl we had a nice Anti-Superbowl party with a 12 man halo game. so that lasted for like 7 hours or so then i came home and woke up early in the morning. liz and rob picked my ass up. i was telling them directions, wasnt paying attention and we ended up 20 miles from Springfield but me with my, Keen Geography skills (apparently they were off when i got us lost), got us back on the right track but it added a hour and 15 to our trip. then they droped me off i coulnt go to any of my classes since i was late for my last class at 2 we got in charleston around 220 so then we chilled till about 430 and then they left. and then this weekend im going Caveing with my Geomorph class and then the following week im probobly skipping Thursday and Friday (if i dont have anything due) then we are going to go to Liz's Aunts house for a few days of paintball!!! which none of us has done together for 4 years so im extreemly exited to get back into it. hell i dont f-in care if its 30 degrees, rain,sleet, snow, fuck it im gona be paintballin with my buds!!! *shakes fist at mother nature* well thats really all that has happend lately. oh i got a butterfly knife from Rob which is a good knife actually. well im off.
